Which shoe fitting do I need for my grinder?
Husqvarna PG machines take Redi-Lock, Lavina and most Superabrasive machines take Lavina Quick-Change, and Scanmaskin, HTC and hire-shop grinders usually run Magnetic or Universal Bolt-on plates. Check your machine's plate before ordering — if you're unsure, use the tool matcher on the home page or email us a photo of your plate.
How do I choose the right bond for my concrete?
Bond works opposite to the slab: hard concrete needs a soft bond, soft or abrasive concrete needs a hard bond, and typical 25-32 MPa Australian slabs suit a medium bond. Always grind a small test patch first.
What's the difference between grinding shoes and PCD shoes?
Diamond grinding shoes profile and grind bare concrete. PCD shoes are for removing coatings — epoxy, glue, paint and membranes — before you grind. PCD comes in clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation to match your machine's heads.
